Jeremey Sprow

Jeremey Michael Sprow, 46, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away in his residence on November 19, 2025. Born July 12, 1979, in San Antonio, Texas, to Stanley Lee and Jane Christine (Balch) Sprow. Jeremey was a 1997 graduate of Swanton High School, and received an associate degree in Networking and Information System Support from Owens Community College in 2008. Jeremey served in the United States Marine Corps for several years. Jeremey was a field service Technician for CompuCom, servicing the area Lowe's stores. Previously, Jeremey worked for Buckeye Cable in the Brainiacs department. Jeremey enjoyed playing video games, going to the gun range, cooking, camping, metal casting, the Minnesota Vikings, and spending time with his family.

Jeremey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary DeCoff Balch, Carl and Pauline Sprow, and Karl and Barbara Doren; bonus dad, James Colbert; aunt, Dianne Zumfelde; cousin, Monica Hocking-Herrstein; and special companion, Rhetta. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Kirkum) Sprow; sons, Joshua Sprow, Christopher Sprow, Samuel Sprow, Andrew Sprow, Kain Brown; daughters, Allison Brown, Jenna Brown (Brandon DeAnda); parents, Stanley Lee (Cynthia) Sprow, Jane Colbert; brother, Dennis (Amy) Colbert, Cove, Arkansas; sisters, Stephanie Sprow, Toledo, Ohio; Samantha Ward, Watson, Oklahoma; Robin (Dewayne) Jonn, Watson, Oklahoma; Mary-Jane (Cody) Lopez, Mena, Arkansas; niece Taylor Walters (Reese Kotnik); and special companion, Layla.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025, at The Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd at Byrne Rd, Toledo, Ohio, at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive guests after 12:00 p.m. Pastor Ron Shellhammer, officiating.
