JEREMIAH “MIAH” D. BROWN age 51, beloved significant other for 9 years of Kathy Carson; loving father of Haley and Madison Brown; cherished son of Randy and Clara (Geanne Kimak) Brown; dearest brother of Jamie and Kay (Barbosa) Brown; He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nephews. Miah also loved his cherished cat, Joey.

A graduate of Grand Valley High School’s Class of 1992, Miah grew into an inventive and creative thinker. He was an accomplished inventor with several patents to his name and dedicated over 20 years to Euclid Chemical Company as a Technical Supervisor for Cement, Additives, and MCP, where he combined his technical expertise with his hands-on ingenuity.

In 2016, Miah met Kathy, the love of his life and his partner in every sense of the word. Together, they shared nine wonderful years side by side. In 2019, Miah moved into the home of his dreams in Newbury, where he continued to build a life surrounded by love.

Miah had a gift for connecting with people. He was the life of the party, always ready to join in a conversation, share a laugh, and make everyone feel like a friend.

Of all his many accomplishments, Miah was most proud of his daughters, Haley and Madison. He loved being a dad with every fiber of his being and was endlessly devoted to them. He was very proud of his three nephews Tyler, Ryan, and Alec, often speaking about them with so much joy.

Miah loved to fish, especially at his favorite lake during the summertime. More recently, he had taken up coin collecting and gold mining, eagerly showing off his unique finds to anyone curious enough to ask. Miah often reminisced about going on hunting trips with his dad and family in Colorado and Canada. His father treasures those memories of their time together working on cars and speaks fondly of how naturally gifted Miah was - “good with both his hands and his mind”. His brother Jamie remembers those young days as brothers, when they would be out until late evening - “driving Mom crazy.” Cousins also recollect how close everyone was growing up. His mother, Clara, treasures the countless hours they “spent talking and laughing”. He always kept his mom close to his heart.

Dependable and kind, Miah was the one you could always count on whether you needed something fixed or just someone to share a good beer and a laugh with. Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday, and we give thanks for the many moments, memories, and love Miah shared with all of us.

Miah passed away on November 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy as an extraordinary son, partner, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will forever be remembered for his warmth, smile, and love for family.
