Carl T. Sanders, Jr. (June, as he was known to some) fell asleep in death on April 25, 2024 at Skilled Care of Mexia under the excellent care of AccentCare hospice services.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 30, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the Pavilion at Fort Parker Memorial Park Cemetery with Clantzy Ballard officiating.He was preceded in death by daughter, Joy Louise Foreman; father, Carl Sanders; mother, Ruthie Jewel Sanders; brothers: Jimmy Ray Sanders, Cleveland Loy Sanders, Larry Truman Sanders, Robert Glen Sanders, Oia Kent (Kenny) Sanders, Willie Wade Sanders, and Robert Lee (RL) Sanders; sisters: Ora Lee Johnson, Wanda Faye Texter, Ella Louise Collins, Reba Diane Kerzee, and Ruthie Jo Sanders.
