Jeremy Michael Carr, age 50, passed away in his home on July 19, 2023, in Orlando, FL.
Jeremy was a dedicated husband, father, son, and friend. He loved his time with family and friends. He loved going to Ohio every year and riding all the roller coasters at Cedar Point, OH and Universal Studios, Orlando, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Shara K. Carr, children Ava R. Carr, daughter, and Brent W. Carr, son; all from Orlando, FL.
Jeremy's father Daniel R. Carr and stepmother Tonie L. Carr reside in Louisville, OH
Jeremy's mother Diane M. Hinkle and her husband Richard Hinkle reside in Cosa Grande, AZ.
Surviving siblings include sister Jill C. Allen, her husband Stephan, and their daughters Makalya and Juliette from Akron, OH.; sister Jessica Wade, her husband Michael and daughters Brooke and Avery from Jacksonville, FL.
Jeremy's stepsisters reside in Marlboro Township, OH; Kimberly Day and her husband Kris Mowrer; and Erin Marie and her husband Tyler Sims and daughter Arie Marie.
Jeremy's Aunt Barbara A. Gepfrey and cousins Megan E. Gepfrey, Lilah M. Gepfrey, and Sofia A. Gepfrey reside in Canton, OH.
Other surviving relatives include Aunt Debbie Gepfrey and cousins Jocelyn Gaul, Jamie Gual, and Abbie Gaul.
Jeremy was proceeded in death by infant sister Jennifer Nichole Carr, grandparents William and Elanor Gepfrey and grandparents James and Mary Carr, Uncle Ronald L. Gepfrey, and Uncle Timothy P. Gepfrey.
Jeremy attended Jackson High School in Massillon, OH and graduated from Largo High School, Class of 1991, Largo, FL. He studied electronical engineering technology at Kent State University, Stark County Campus, Canton, OH from 1992 till 1994. He graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in micro and molecular biology and laboratory sciences.
He was a Senior Clinical Systems Engineer at Beckman Coulter since 2002.
Jeremy was a fanatic Cleveland Browns football fan his entire life and loved UCF Football. Jeremy enjoyed playing scrabble for hours with his friends and family. He also liked playing chess with his dad and other qualified opponents.
Calling hours will be held at Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road N.E., Massillon, OH on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. A graveside service and burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Massillon, OH will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
Services in Orlando, FL will be held at Crosspoint Church, 1900 Conway Gardens Road, Orlando, FL on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A Fellowship will follow the service at First United Church of Christ
