Jeremy William King

Jeremy William King, age 40, of Paintsville, KY passed away April 1, 2023, in Norton, VA. He was born on February 6, 1983, in Pikeville, KY the son of William King, of Lowmansville, KY and the late Dana Flannery, of Hagerhill, KY. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Bill and Anna Mae King, of Sitka, KY and Lestia Adams, of Flat Gap, KY. Jeremy is also preceded in death by a special loved friend Necole Clark, of Paintsville, KY. In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother Sharon King, of Lowmansville, KY, two sisters: Chrissy (Chris) Conner of Norton, VA., Lakeizia (Josh) Reed, of Lowmansville, KY, one brother: Justin (Briana) Kirk, of Lowmansville, KY, two sons: Brayden King, of Adams, KY, and Jayce King, of Volga, KY. Jeremy also survived by his nieces and nephews, Aaron and Shaianne Rose, of Norton, VA., Jaxon and Lorelai Reed, of Lowmansville, KY, and Andrew Kirk and Dereka Tess Stone, of Louisa, KY. In addition, he is survived by his love and companion Veronica Jones, of Paintsville, KY.
Jeremy was loved dearly by his aunts and uncles like a son and was like a brother to his cousins. He was loved and adored by all his family and friends and will sadly be missed. Rest peacefully Jeremy.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 P.M until 8 P.M. at the Preston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Tim Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Louisa, KY.
