It is with profound sadness that the family of Jeremy Alan Nichols must announce his passing on July 3, 2025 at his home in Milton, WA. He was 53.
Jeremy will be forever honored and remembered by his beloved wife, Shannah Nichols (Smarr), and the sons he was so incredibly proud of, Alexander and William. He will also be deeply missed by his surviving parents Donald and Juanita Nichols, and Tom and Peggy Irons, his siblings, Tim (Nannette) Nichols, Noah (Linda) Nichols, and Amy (Andrew) Reed, and his nephews and nieces. Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Irons (Fugate).
Jeremy was born in Auburn, WA on November 17, 1971. He lived in Milton, WA for most of his life, where he had deep ties to his graduating class and local community.
Jeremy graduated from Fife High School in 1990. In 1995, he graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Chemical Engineering. Jeremy was a Professional Engineer who worked in Engineering Program Management at the City of Seattle, followed by Strategic Advising for Seattle Public Utilities.
Jeremy married the love of his life, Shannah, in 2005. Their two amazing boys, William and Alexander, born in 2009, were the light of Jeremy's life. He was cherished by family, friends, and his community. He truly was the best of us all.
Jeremy's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours (2303 54th Ave E, Fife) with a reception to follow at Milton Community Center (1000 Laurel Street, Milton).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Emergency Food Network Fife/Milton/Edgewood Food Pantry.
