Jeremy Lee Rodriguez was born on May 20th, 1995 in Harlingen, TX to Melissa Isaackson (Matamoros) and Jaime Rodriguez. Life brought him, his mother, and siblings to Cottonwood, MN where his mother would meet his dad, Clinton (Clint) Isaackson. Clint became the dad Jeremy so desperately needed. He was Clint’s “sonny boy”, as Clint would lovingly call him. Their bond was unmatched and would set the trajectory of the amazing father Jeremy would become. Clint instilled his love of sports in Jeremy, and Jeremy would later do the same with his children. He was a dedicated sports fanatic and Philadelphia Eagles’ #1 fan (Fly, Eagles, Fly!). At a young age, Jeremy was full of energy, running around the family farm, wrestling with siblings and friends, and more than likely playing sports. He could entertain himself with a basketball, baseball or football for hours on end.

As a testament to his character, in 9th grade Jeremy made the basketball team, but since none of his friends made the team, he quit. In 2013, Jeremy graduated from Marshall High School, in Marshall, MN. He furthered his education at Lake Area Tech, in Watertown, South Dakota. Life brought him back to Marshall, MN, where he met the love of his life, Fatima Marlen Cervantes. What started as a friendship would soon bloom into a love so strong and manifest into a beautiful family.

Jeremy wore many hats, but without a doubt, his most treasured title was ‘dad’. On January 27, 2020, Jeremy and Marlen welcomed their first daughter, Maia Avalee Rodriguez. A ball of energy, just like daddy, she immediately had him wrapped around her finger. On January 12 2021, the couple adopted their three oldest children, Alexander Rodriguez, Adamari Rodriguez, and Sergio Rodriguez. On June 5, 2021, Jeremy and Marlen were united in Holy Matrimony at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Pipestone, MN. The couple was blessed with their fifth child, Sienna Itzel Rodriguez, on August 27th, 2022. His children were his whole world. Jeremy gave the best advice, hugs, and pep talks. His effortless way with words never failed to comfort and uplift his children. In Maia’s words, he was “the best daddy ever!”

Jeremy was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Pipestone, MN. He was baptized and confirmed there on April 3, 2021. He coached little league baseball and youth football. He was a proud member of NA/AA, often leading meetings and offering words of encouragement to his fellow members. Jeremy was a Claims Crop Adjuster with QBE NAU Country Insurance for 10 years and had become a senior claims adjuster in 2023. He was well liked by his fellow agents.

Jeremy had a big heart filled with an abundance of love for his family, friends, and pets (Rex, Tucker, Felix & Bruce). He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his witty (sometimes dark) humor. He was the life of the party and his smile would light up any room.

Jeremy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fatima Marlen Cervantes of Pipestone, Minnesota; his children, Alexander, Adamari , Sergio, Maia and Sienna Rodriguez of Pipestone, Minnesota; his parents, Clinton (Melissa) Isaackson of Clear Lake, Minnesota; siblings, Gregory (Jessica) Quesada of Elwood, Indiana, Jamie (Ashley) Quesada of Lynd, Minnesota, Jannelle (Dalton Benner) Rodriguez of Avon, Minnesota, Anthony Isaackson of Spicer, Minnesota , Tyler (Ashley) Isaackson of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Alyssa (Samuel Scheffler) Isaackson of Faribault, Minnesota; paternal grandparents, Clemente (Josefina) Rodriguez; nephews, Drake, Jaxson, Joseph, Oaklen, Elijah, Noah, Anthony and Madden; nieces, Kolton, Adalyn, and Salem.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandpa, Israel Perez; paternal grandparents, James & Avis Isaackson; and maternal grandfather, Innocencio Matamoros.

Blessed be his memory.
