JERLINE DAVIS

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Jerline Davis, who left this world on April 29, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on April 23, 1935, Jerline lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness that touched everyone she encountered.

A truly remarkable woman, Jerline had a personality that made her a beloved figure in her community. Her loving nature and caring demeanor were evident to all who knew her. She had a knack for striking up conversations with anyone and everyone; she never met a stranger. Her great sense of humor brought untold joy to her family and friends, lifting spirits even during challenging times.

Jerline cherished her time spent at the senior center, where she connected with fellow seniors and engaged in activities that brought her happiness and fulfillment. She loved to shop, exercise, and of course, cook – always finding ways to share delicious meals with those she loved.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Henry Davis, whose love was a constant source of strength and comfort in her life. Their bond set an example of true companionship and mutual respect that inspired those around them.

In honor of her life, family and friends are invited to celebrate Jerline's legacy during the viewing on May 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, TX, followed by a funeral service on May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, also in Dallas.

As we remember Jerline, we will forever cherish the kindness she offered, the laughter she shared, and the love that she poured into every interaction. She truly lived a life that reflected the best of humanity, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
