Jerold Terry (JT) Frye

April 18th, 2002 - November 27th, 2025

JT Frye, a Flying Crew Chief on the KC-135 Stratotankers and Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force suddenly passed away on Hunter's Pass in Stevens County, Washington, on November 27th, 2025. While his last place of residence was Spokane, Washington, he began life in Fairbanks, Alaska, on April 18th, 2002 and spent the majority of his life right down the road in Dacula, Georgia. During his time in the Armed Forces, he was assigned to numerous temporary duties all across the world to include many European and Middle Eastern countries.

JT leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Jessica and Jason Frye; his brother, Alexander Frye; his grandparents, Janice Crane, Vicky Frye, and Terry Frye; his numerous aunts and uncles, his cousins, and his loving girlfriend, Mariah Nortz and her entire family. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Jerold Crane and cousin Victoria "Tori" Marckini.

While JT may be well known for his humor and outspoken love for the outdoors, many were lucky enough to experience his compassion and selflessness. This was emphasized by his sacrifice to serve in the military and those who are still here today thanks to him. Ever since an early age, JT had high expectations of himself. He knew no bounds. Wherever he went in his career, he was always fast to promote and excelled in leadership positions. These valuable skills translated to and from his personal life. He always placed his loved ones' needs, even strangers' at times, above his own. He will be missed by everyone that has seen the smile which could light up a room.

Revelation 21:4

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
