Obituary
Jerome Winston Armstead entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2022. His life began on October 15, 1953 born to the late James and Beatrice Armstead.
Jerome was educated in the Williamsburg-James City County Public School System. Later, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He honorably served his country for six years.
Jerome was a loving husband, father, and brother. He was always willing to help others and will be remembered for his brilliant smile. He was loved and will be missed by all.
Jerome was preceded in death by his son Jerome Winston Armstead Jr and brother Robert Levi Armstead. His memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Sabrina "Beanie"; daughters, Melody Latrell Armstead of Lancaster, CA and Leona Carter (Omar) of Kalamazoo, MI; stepchildren, Stella Lee (Erickanicki) and William Lee Jr., both of Williamsburg, VA; brothers, James Armstead Jr. (Arleen), William Armstead Sr. (Juanita), and Bliss Armstead (Karen), all of Williamsburg; aunt, Martha Armstead of Williamsburg; special relative, Mildred Wagstaff of Hampton, Virginia; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Whiting's Funeral Home. Livestream will be available at the beginning of the service. Mr. Armstead may be viewed on Wednesday from noon until 2:00 p.m. facial coverings are required for all services.
