JEROME M. GASPER, SR., age 87; passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023. Beloved husband of the late June (nee Sherman); loving father of Jerome, Jr., David, Janet Scheiman (David), Dennis (deceased) and Kevin; dearest G-Pa, G-Pop and PopPop of Joseph Scheiman (Natalie), Kelly (Lenny Geschke), James Scheiman (Katie), Rachel (Robert Robinson), Alison Scheiman (Cliff Borrowman), Matthew (Mindi Genzen), Michael (Catherine), Ashley Scheiman (Gage Sharp) and Anthony; great-grandfather of Blake, Jade, Mollie, Leyna, Jacob, Romen, Brooklynn, Hailey, Benjamin, Isla, Baker and Jesse James; son of the late Joseph and Veronica (nee Nishnic); brother of Martin (deceased) (Emma) and Rose Marie Mory (Glenn); uncle and great-uncle of many. Jerry was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired from Brookside Meats, was an avid golfer, mostly at Hickory Nut and Pine Hills, and most of all loved spending time with his family. He was loved and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256, www.hospicewr.org.
