Jerome Gottstine Obituary
Jerome is survived by his four daughters, Barbara B. Thomson (Rob), Catherine B. Rogers, Judy B. Dunnam (Ray), and Peggy Gottstine Gallus (Cory); nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Gottstine, Jim (Betty) Gottstine, Joe (Cathy) Gottstine, and Bill (Dorothy) Gottstine.
Jerome dedicated everything to his family and lived a life of service to his church and community. He was a volunteer fire fighter in New York and a distinguished member of the Lion's Club for over 25 years. Jerome was very mechanically inclined and always happy to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. If it was broken, he could fix it. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Jerome had a passion for playing golf and tennis and taking meticulous care of his home and lawn. Jerome will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Shrine of the Holy Cross, 612 Main Street in Daphne, AL, on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11AM. There will be a time of visitation before the service, beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.
