May 1, 1939 - September 9, 2025

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Janousek; son, Dennis Janousek; brother, Ralph Janousek; sister, Toni Thomas; sister-in-law, Delores Janousek; brother-in-law, Moe Lamplot.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Kathleen A. Janousek; son, David Janousek; grandchildren, Drew (Cassi) Janousek, Shane Janousek, Lyndsey Janousek, and Michael (Aubrey) Janousek; great-grandchildren, Levi, Nash, Milo, and Jack; brother, Charles Janousek; sister, Bernie Lamplot; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation to take place on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bethany Funeral Home with a Vigil Service to follow at 7 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7790 192nd St., Gretna, NE 68028.

Burial, Saint John Cemetery.
