Jerome B Johnson

Jerome Johnson 65 of Allentown passed away peacefully on Sunday September 22, 2024 at St. Lukes Hospital Fountain Hill. Jerome was born on May 21, 1959 to Mary Johnson and William Brody, his grandmother Almeter Brandon also helped raise Jerome. Jerome graduated from Liberty High-school, then attended College in Ohio. Jerome came home and started working at Bethlehem Steel until he was laid off. He then started working at Lehigh County as a correction officer that wasn't his cup of tea so he went to school and got his CDL. He started driving tractor trailers across the county. After a while he started working for Department of Transportation ( Penn Dot) until he got hurt. He then went back to school and got his associates degree in IT which he retired from. Jerome loved watching football his team was the Washington Commander's. He also loved playing cards and hanging out with friends. Jerome spent a lot of time with his grandkids and playing with his cat Sasha. Jerome leaves behind his wife of 28 years Sharon Johnson daughter Lovett Havens and son- in – law James Havens. Daughters Julian Freeman and Avia Johnson. Grandkids Layla Johnson, Ceion Clayton, Jayani Fritch, Ja Watts, Addy Havens, Omari Troxell, Emonie Watts, and Tajiri Havens. Several cousins, nieces and nephews. Jerome had many good friends that he absolutely loved and respected.
Funeral Services will take place in the Funeral Home on Friday October 4, 2024 at 1PM. Visitation begins at 12:30.
