Jerry Linke, Bemidji, MN (formerly of Mounds View, MN) passed away suddenly on May
20, 2025. He is survived by his wife Sharie, children Scott (Stacey) Linke, Chad
(Jennifer Leigh) Linke and Stephanie (Darren) Smith, and sister-in-law Lisa (Tom)
Fields. Grandchildren Alex, Kahlen, Mika, Joe, Josh, Madison, Courtney, Remy, Piper,
Jonah and Caleb. Siblings Gordy Linke, Sharon Kuehn and Bonnie Veldkamp.
Jerry graduated from Mounds View High School and Dunwoody Industrial Institute. As a
long-time resident of the City of Mounds View, he was very active in the community. He
was a 30 year member of the Mounds View Lions Club and served the City of Mounds
View as Mayor, Councilmember and Parks and Recreation Commission member.
In 2010, Jerry moved to Bemidji to work as a Building Inspector for the City of Bemidji.
Upon retirement Jerry and Sharie enjoyed their road trips, especially to the National
Parks. He was a talented woodworker and most of all loved spending time with family
and friends.
Jerry's family will celebrate his life privately.

To Sharie, Chad, Scott, Stephanie and all extended family,

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry´s passing! How shocking, devastating and heartbreaking for you all to have dear Jerry gone!! He was such a kind and gentle man who loved his family dearly! I´m praying for your comfort, to know he´s peacefully in heaven with our Savior Jesus Christ!!
