JEROME "DICK" POTASH

Jerome "Dick" Potash, age 91, entered into rest Sunday November 16, 2025 at Medina County Hospice of the Western Reserve. He was born January 28, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio son of the late John & Viola (nee-Wentland) Potash. Dick graduated from West Tech High School, Class of
1952, and served in U.S. Marine Corp. from 1952-1955. In July of 1955 he married the love of his life Margaret Schreiber, a marriage that lasted 68 years until Margaret's death in 2023. Mr. Potash worked at Ford Motor Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, collecting
match box cars & trains, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by 4 children; Cynthia (Bud-dec'd) Delgaudio, Richard (Ruth Keller) Potash, Janet (Michael) Neiswonger & Jeannette "Jean" (Thomas) Nagel, 7 grandchildren; Jodi (Dan)Ward, Julie (Jake) Cork, Jonathan (Kristen) Neiswonger, Joey Neiswonger, Brandon (Leigha) Nagel, Tommy (Nicole) Nagel & Jaimie (Brittney) Nagel, 15 great -grandchildren; Joey, Austin, Hannah, Logan, Taylor, CJ, Thomas, Brad, Hailey, Jackson, Emma, Lucy, Blake, Troy & Clare, 1 brother; Jack Potash. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret (nee-Schreiber) Potash and siblings; Elaine, Kenneth & Joe.
Family will receive friends Friday November 21, 2025 from 9:00am until time of service at 10:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 27993 Detroit Rd., Westlake. Interment will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME in Avon is in charge of arrangements.
