Jerome Schwehr Obituary

Jerome John Schwehr, age 86, of Seattle (SeaTac), WA, passed away on February 9, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Deantha, and his son, Darrin.
Jerome will be remembered for his resourcefulness, grit, humor, and sweet kindness.
In his younger years, he developed a fondness for working with the Kluge press. After becoming permanently disabled, he continued to use his time productively by repairing teletypewriters (TTY) for members of his local Deaf community.
Outside of work, he enjoyed pursuing various hands-on hobbies and projects-camping and fishing, woodworking, household improvement projects, and various office-type duties for Deaf organizations.
Jerome's greatest joy came from spending time with his family, often playing games together and sharing laughter.
Honoring Jerome's wishes, no service will be held.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
