Jerome Tidwell

Mr. Douglas Jerome Tidwell, age 61, of Bremen, GA, passed away November 10, 2024. He was born July 24, 1963, in Carrollton, GA to the late Jerry Milton and Rita Nell Phillips Tidwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Gail Ashby, and brother, Tony Tidwell.
Jerome was a man of strong faith and courage of conviction. Anytime he met someone, he asked if they knew their Lord and Savior; if the answer was no, he would share the love of God with them. He was a member of Arise Community Church and a fervent prayer warrior. A selfless man who would help anyone, it's no wonder that he had so many friends who dearly loved him.
He is survived by his daughters, Hanna (Chris) Lepard, of Bremen, Haley Tidwell, of Marietta; grandchildren, Brantley Lepard, Ben Ruthven, Harper Brand, and Rylnn Lepard; sister, Charlotte Turner, of Carrollton, GA, and dear friend, Doris Zachary.
Funeral services for Mr. Tidwell will be held, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 5:00 PM from Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Pastor Gary Harris officiating. Music will be provided by Chris Lepard. Aquamation services will follow the funeral.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 12th, between the hours of 3:00 and 5:00 PM.
