Jerrell Joy Howard

Dear Jan & Family, I just recently learned of Joy's passing and want you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. Joy was a truly caring and kind person. Her compassion for others defined who she was. Joy expected nothing in return and only wanted what was best for her friends and family. It was my honor to call Joy my friend and a privilege to have her as any employee of Seneca's Long Term Care Unit. She will truly be missed. Condolences to you all. Doreen Turner-Ayres

So sorry hearing of Joy's passing. My heart goes out the family. She put up a good fight and now is not in any pain. She will always be every ones heart.

My deepest condolences. Joy was such a great friend to me for many years. Such a caring and loving woman. Your mom (and dad) were some of the first folks I met when I came to Chester back in '95 and went to work at Seneca Hospital. She was so devoted to providing the utmost care for your dad as well as other residents. I admired her allegiance even after your dad had died. She definitely had a positive impact on my life as well as many others. You gave your mother a wonderful gift of being able to stay in her home right to the end. The sacrifices you made to make this happen affirm the immense love you all have for her. Blessings to all of you.

Joy was a very remarkable lady. My wife Bonnie and I cherish the friendship we had with both Joy and Bill during our time we lived in Quincy and the time we worked together on the Plumas NF. Joy and Bonnie frequently attended the Forest Service Wife's activities together. Please take pride in the remembering what a truly great mother you were all so fortunate of have had.
