Jerren Frances Heffelfinger

Ms. Jerren was the greatest teacher in my book. She believed in her capabilities as an educator. And she believed that she could reach any student that came her way no matter how troublesome they may be. She believed in me. When I graduated from high school, I came to give her a flower. When I graduated from state, I gave her some more. She gave me a chance when others didn't. Even though it seems like 38 years ago happened in a flash, I still remember some of the values she taught.
