Jerrial (Jerry) Ralph Morris, age 85, of Zolfo Springs, passed away on January 3rd, 2026 at home following a brief illness. He was born on May 7th, 1940, in Toombs County, Georgia. Jerry lived in Georgia before moving to Hardee County in 1960. He was a farmer, carpenter, and former business owner of restaurants, video stores, and a jewelry store. Jerry was a member of the Wauchula Moose Lodge and the Arcadia Elks Lodge. He enjoyed singing karaoke and loved to dance. Jerry was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan and supporter of President Trump. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Benjamin "Bennie" Morris and Claudia Jenkins "CJ" Morris; two sisters, Grace Morris Turner and Rose Morris Riner; three brothers, Franklin Morris, Bobby Morris, and John "Bimbo" Morris. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Edna Hall Morris of 61 years, three children; two daughters, Kim (Butch) Strickland of North Fort Myers, Kelli Morris Metcalf of Wauchula; one son, Heath (Amanda) Morris of Zolfo Springs. Five grandchildren, three granddaughters; Emily (Hugo) Ribeiro of Orlando, Kaydan Strickland of North Fort Myers, and Hallie Morris of Wauchula; two grandsons, Justin Strickland of Okeechobee and Jacob (Caryssa) Metcalf of Wauchula; four great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Noah, and Matthew Ribeiro of Orlando, and CiaLynnJo Metcalf of Wauchula. One sister, Maxine Morris Gordon of Bradenton. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly. The Graveside Funeral Service will be on January 10th, 2026 at Friendship Cemetery 804 Moffitt Road, Zolfo Springs, FL 33890 Visitation at 9 am Services at 10 am. Pastor Scott Waldron and Mr. Duck Smith will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
