Jerry Alexander Obituary
Born April 18, 1957, in Bedford, he was the son of Robert D. and Nancy K. (Reynolds) Alexander. He married Janis Marie Norman on November 15, 2004, and she preceded him in death November 11, 2014.
Jerry worked in auto glass for 30 plus years, lastly working at Sipes Body and Glass. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Jerry enjoyed shooting guns, fishing, and knives. He loved his dog, Sasha.
Survivors include his daughters, Angie (Mark) Alexander Coulter of Bedford and Chasity (Timothy) Jenkins of Bedford; grandchildren, Laney Gilbert, Jesse Woodward, Robert Alexander, Elijah Jenkins, and Tyler (Emma) Jenkins; and great grandchildren, Leo Woodward, Emma Woodward, and Luci Woodward.
His parents; wife; and brother, John D. Alexander, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Timothy Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at Burton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
