My condolences to the family of Jerry Bishop, I am very sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort be with all of you as you grieve.

Jerry and I have been in touch through emails weekly over 7 years. He had become a good friend. I used to attend week his frequent blacktop hops in the early 60's at the Big D. He was not only a wonderful gifted announcer but a legendary figure in broadcasting. When I became ill last
September with Myasemia Gravis he emailed me every week to ask how I was doing. May G-D give the Blum (Bishop) family comfort during this dificult time.

I'm so sorry to read of Jerry's passing. My sincere condolences to you all.

I remember him well from our days at Weaver High in Hartford (he was a year ahead of me), and enjoyed hearing his voice on TV.

May his memory be for a blessing, and may he rest in peace.
