Jerry Paul Bright of Murfreesboro TN, age 81, died Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at Victory Harmony Senior Services in Murfreesboro, TN.
He was a former resident of Jackson, TN. He was born in Henderson, TN on August 7th, 1943, the son of the late James Vernon Bright and Beulah Threadgill Bright. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Bright; his son, Jerry Michael Bright; brothers, Billy Joe Bright and James Bright; sisters, Virginia McCay and Joyce Ann Ward; and granddaughter, Carly Rene’ Napier.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, David (Rene’) Bright of Eagleville, TN and Alan (Lois) Bright of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Dillon and Chase Bright; great-granddaughter, Kamryn Schaff; and sisters, Christine Bishop and Patsy Frye.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Beech Bluff, TN.
Pallbearers will be Alan Bright, David Bright, Josh Bright, Justin Bright, Dillon Bright and Chase Bright.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 6, 2025, prior to the service.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org or to Alzheimer's Association online at wwwact.alz.org/donate.
