On September 14 1962 our laurel high tornadoes football team played meridian at meridian. My name is Jerry and I wore jersey number 64. With about 5 minutes left in the game, their number 64 came up after a play and plugged me from behind. I returned the favor and we exchanged blows til the officials broke it up. No serious damage was done but we both got kicked out of the game. In the dressing room after the game, Jerry came to our locker room and apologized to me. We both shared same first name, both wore number 64 and both played guard and linebacker. I've often thought of this event so I went online a few years back and found out who he was from Old Meridian Memories. I'm sure he was well loved in the Beaumont area and I've tried to contact him over the past 5 or 6 years, to no avail! Blessings to you, his family. Dr Jerry Reddoch 601 410 7173
