Jerry DiMartino, 69, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. Born on March 31, 1956, in Newark, New Jersey, Jerry lived a life defined by quiet kindness, dedication, and a gentle sense of humor that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Jerry was predeceased by his beloved parents, Joseph and Josephine DiMartino. He is survived by his five devoted sisters, Angela LaManna, Lucille Gabel, Barbara Tiseo, Anne Perri, and Raffaella Capalbo, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy throughout his life.

He pursued his education at Seton Hall Prep and Montclair State University, later earning a Master's degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University–Newark. Jerry built a career in finance, working in the field until 2008. In his later years, he enjoyed staying active in his community, working at ShopRite of Manchester and Walgreens of Toms River before retiring in 2021.

Jerry found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved dining out, attending plays, and taking peaceful walks along the boardwalk. He was a beloved uncle who cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews as they grew up. In recent years, Jerry made his home at The Oaks in Toms River, where he enjoyed puzzles and shared many meaningful moments with friends.

Known for being mild-mannered, slow to anger, and always quick to make others laugh, Jerry will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church, Toms River.
