Jerry Finley Obituary
Funeral service for Mr. Jerry Wayne Finley, 84, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe with Bro. Ricky Baker and Bro. Jade Tolbert officiating. Private family interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until service time Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the funeral home.
Mr. Finley was born on December 13, 1940, to the union of Arthur T. Finley and Pauline C. Minor Finley in Delhi, LA, and passed away on August 21, 2025, in Monroe, LA. He worked in the military for over 30 years retiring from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant.
Mr. Finley was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Pauline Finley; daughter, Cheryl Whitton; brother, Art Finley; and two sons-in-law, Donald Everett and Todd Pickron.
Survivors include his wife, Nita “Penny” Finley; children, Rena Spurlin (Tim), Jerri Lynn Everett, and Valorie Pickron; grandchildren, Jerri Star Tomera, Amber Ortega (Oscar), Scotty Spurlin (Mat), Stacy Jo Spurlin, Samuel Spurlin (Kara), Corey Whitton, Joshua Whitton, Destini Paudel (Gary), and Christian Pickron; eight great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Dennie Whitton.
Memorials may be made to the Friends of Zion.
