Jerry Gatch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chapel of the Resurrection Mausoleum & Funeral Home on Jun. 26, 2024.
Jerry "Craig" Gatch II born in Reno, NV, on July 25, 1968, and passed away due to
ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease, on April 18, 2022, in Kirkland, WA. He was a
Journeyman electrician by trade. He is survived by Michelle, his high school
sweetheart of 35 years, his Mother, Lyn
Schratz of Florida, his sister, Rhonda Allen (Shaion), and dog, Chloe. As well
as dearly loved uncles, aunts, and cousins.
His interests included the outdoors, fishing, grilling, baking,
and watching Sci-Fi. His warm and caring personality allowed him to easily make
friends. He enjoyed weekend trips and new adventures. He was always ready to
serve others. He was active in his homeowner association for twenty three
years, serving as President. He loved his faith. He did not waiver. He was loyal,
dedicated, and dependable. He showed up.
He was a peaceful soul, with a huge heart. Always smiling and
cheering up folks. He would smile and light up a room. He loved others and had
patience and grace for those around him. His favorite expression was "you
know it is love when the unsmurfy things become smurfy".
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, June 12th, at
2:00 at Northshore Community Church, 10301 NE 145th St, Kirkland, WA 98034.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Northshore Community Church.
