Jerry W. Hart

Jerry W. Hart, age 93, of Millsboro, DE died Thursday October 30, 2025 at Accent Care Hospice Center in Wilmington, DE. He was born in Chester, PA and was the son of the late Jerry Hart and Catherine (Della) Miles.
A dedicated rug maker, Jerry devoted many years of his life to his work at Congoleum, where his craftsmanship was recognized and respected. Jerry will be remembered not only for his professional contributions but also for the kindness and love he extended to those around him. He was a member of the Community Church of Oak Orchard in Millsboro, DE and Amvets. Jerry served proudly in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his brothers, James Miles and Frank Miles; sisters, Juanita Marvel and Shirley Papas; one daughter; one grandchild; one great-grandchild. Jerry cherished his family deeply, creating bonds that will endure beyond his passing.
Jerry was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Miles, Richard Miles, Kenneth Miles.
A graveside service will be held on November 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
