Jerry W. Hill, 67, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at A.O. Fox Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on December 10, 1957, in Milford, Alabama, to Thomas J. Hill and Ruby Inez Frost.
On April 4, 1987, Jerry married the love of his life, Lureene Sibley, in Masonville. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and family.
Over the years, Jerry worked hard in many roles, including as a head sawyer, tire technician, and contractor. His dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly spirit earned him the respect of everyone who knew him.
Outside of work, Jerry was an active member of the community and enjoyed competing in horseshoe tournaments, including the Deposit Lumberjack Festival. He had a passion for classic rock music, fishing, camping, and long-distance bike rides. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Jerry never missed a game and loved cheering on his team. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter and love.
Jerry will be dearly missed and forever remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and love of life.
He is survived by his children Patrisha (Chris) Prentice, Roger (Stephanie) Hill, and George (Kate) Hill; and grandchildren Christopher, Kalob, Jaden, Jeremiah, Catherine, Izabella, Bennett, and Oakley.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lureene Hill; daughter, Elizabeth Hill; and his parents, Thomas and Ruby Hill.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at a later date.
