Mr. Jerry Holmberg

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Lou, and survived by his daughters Paula (Curt), Mia (Peter), Marcia (Dan), and son R.J. (June), brother James, and grandchildren, Margaret, Connor, Matthew, Patrick, Christopher, Ray, Paul, Hunter and Nathan. Jerry was born in Omaha, NE and graduated from Creighton University in 1958. Over his 35-year career with Mutual of Omaha, he rose to VP and was a mentor to countless sales professionals. A long-time resident of San Diego, he was a cherished and loyal friend to many. Jerry loved a good joke and loved making others laugh even more. There will be a Rosary Service on Thursday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m., and a Funeral Mass on Friday, April 12, at noon at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, where he was a parishioner for more than 40 years and a generous supporter of many church projects.
