Jerry Walter Hunter 83 passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, in Pocatello, Idaho. He was born January 14, 1942, in Nampa, Idaho as the oldest son of Eldon C Hunter and Olla Jane Marrow Hunter. A few minutes after he was born, he was joined by his identical twin brother Larry Charles Hunter. They had a bond that was inseparable and uniquely special. From early childhood their journey was marked by shared experiences and adventures. They are fondly remembered for the countless stories they shared of their adventures. Always bringing laughter to those around them. They had an unparalleled understanding of one another. Together they thrived in one business adventure after another including Twin’s Auto Repair, Real Deal Auto Sales, Hunter’s Hardtops, Hunter’s Auto Town & RV Center, and Custom Topper.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his parents Eldon C. Hunter and Olla Jane Rutan, his twin brother Larry Hunter, his sisters Sharon Mulhern and Bonnie Molt, daughter Gerry Grosteffon, and son-in-law Kelly Scott (Marilyn).
Jerry is survived by daughters: Marilyn (Ralph) Francis and Janet (Darvin) Phillips and Grandchildren: Jameson Scott, Jordon Scott, Hailey (Jason) Goretsky, Justin (Emily) Ostermiller, Rashelle Ostermiller, David (Lindsey), Phillips, Steven (Deborah) Phillips, 23 Great grandchildren, and even 3 Great-great grandchildren. Also lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
