Jerry was a proud US Marine Veteran and loved our country. He was an umpire for Berliner Park for 15 years. He also worked at Ohio Steel Casting for 15 years in Pataskala, Ohio.
Jerry loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and very rarely missed a game. If you were looking for him on Saturdays, he would usually be in front of a TV somewhere watching The Buckeyes.
Jerry loved his family with a passion. His favorite job was being a grandfather. He loved watching his grandchildren grow up. He loved being involved in their lives and hearing about how they were doing. His face would light up whenever he would get a visit or a phone call from one of his "babies". He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
There will be a memorial service and grave side service at a later date.
