I just learned today Dec 26 about Jerry's passing. I considered Jerry a great childhood friend and a very nice guy. I remember Melvin and Merl Vacha, Fay Trenary and Jerry Lee and myself going on an all nigh camping trip down to the end of Joe's Lane and on a cliff above the Little Platte River (used to be called the old dump road). I remember our potatoes snd beans that we tried to warm up were full of sand. we were all miserably cold and tired trying to sleepi on the hard ground . I remember the next morning,we were all still cold but decided we all needed to strip down naked and clean up in the river. For some reason I can still see Jerry shivering in that cold water about 5:30 in the morning as we all most likely were shivering also. I have fond memories of Jerry, he was always a very nice guy and may Jerry Rest In Peace
