Jerry Peterson Obituary
LIMA - Jerry M. Peterson age 64, of Lima passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born Feb. 12, 1957 in LaCrosse, WI to the late Victor S. and Doris (Johnson) Peterson. He was formerly married to Bonnie Tremmel. Jerry was a huge Minnesota Vikings and Golden Gophers fan. He enjoyed traveling, even for work. Jerry recently retired from Lakeview Farms
in Delphos as Director of Human Resources, which was his passion. Those who knew him will remember him for his sense of humor and his ability to make everyone smile.
Survivors include daughters: Jennifer (Nick) Shepherd of Hiram, GA and Jackie (Ben) Peterson of Douglasville, GA and 2 grandchildren: Gabriel Shepherd and Addison Shepherd.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Judy Oestreicher. At his request no public services will be held. Memorial contributions may be given to American Kidney Fund and online condolences may be shared at BayliffAndSon.com

I have known Jerry for only about 5 years.....had the chance to work with him and for him during this time frame. Jerry was unique and different in his capacity.....he was firm and yet compassionate, understanding but accepted no BS....he had opinions but allowed you to express yours and would agree to disagree.....a good listener.
It was easy to talk to Jerry....our common interests resided around sports.....I live in MN and am "tied" to our sports struggles.....Jerry moved away and still supported MN sports! Why....? He loved the inner office Minnesota vs. Ohio State comments
I looked forward to our conversations.....Jerry was Mr. Optimistic and spoke frequently of his daughters and grandchildren and looking forward to his retirement near them in Georgia.
Jerry was a very humble person and all of my conversations with Jerry were over the phone....and EVERY conversation ended with Jerry saying this...."And You take care". He is in the hospital this past week....and this is what he says to me....I´m glad our path´s crossed.
