Jerry Phares Obituary
Jerry Eugene Phares age 91 of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Jerry was born in Florien, Louisiana to James C. and Ona M. Eason Phares. He was raised on the family farm. Member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Columbia. Jerry worked for Texas Eastern for over 39 years. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Phares; parents, James C. and Ona M. Eason Phares. Survived by sons, James Eugene (Lisa) Phares and Jerry Allyn (Julia) Phares; grandchildren, Holly Ann (Brad) Sigman and Lindsay Carol Phares. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Spring Hill Memorial Park. Jim Mylusk, Hermon McGee, Cliff Journey, Gary Sims, Virgil White, Harlan Jones, and Donnie Fitzgerald will serve as pallbearers. Andrews Men’s Class at Highland Park Baptist Church and fishing buddies at Normandy Lake will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at SPRING Hill MEMORIAL PARK, FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES. 5239 Main Street Spring Hill, Tennessee 37174. 931-486-0059
