Jerry Roy Pratt

PRATT – Jerry Roy Pratt, age 84 of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with Rev. Frank Pratt officiating. Interment will follow at Alcova Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the funeral home. Jerry was a member of the Dacula High School Class of 1959, a member of Hebron Church in Dacula, and a member of Dacula Masonic Lodge #433 F&AM. He was in the US Army Reserves. Jerry retired after 30 years of service from the General Motors Doraville Plant in 1989. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pauline (Freeman) Pratt, and sister, Rosalyn (Sam) Venable. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ellen (Sheperd) Pratt; son, Rev. Frank (Donna) Pratt; daughter, Cindy (Craig) Simpkins; grandchildren, Kristy Pratt, Jeremy (Savannah) Pratt; and great grandson, Nolan Pratt.
