Jerry G. Rowell Jr., born on July 22, 1959, brought a brightness to the lives he touched that will be cherished forever. With a heart full of love and a spirit that resonated with humor and quirkiness, Jerry embarked on a remarkable journey through life that came to an untimely end on August 15, 2024. He was a man whose personality lit up the room leaving an infectious joy and a memory smile on the faces of those he met.

A devoted car connoisseur, Jerry's passion for automobiles was not merely a hobby but a testament to his enthusiasm for life. Whether admiring a vintage model or engaging friends with fascinating stories of horsepower and design, Jerry's eyes sparkled with excitement and knowledge, drawing everyone into the world of gleaming metal and roaring engines. He was a devout Christian and Bible scholar. As a testament to his faith, he attended Southwestern Christian College and received a degree in Theology.

As a loving soul, Jerry had an extraordinary gift for making people feel welcome, embracing all with open arms, a listening ear, and an open heart. His warmth transcended conversations, casting a cocoon of comfort around his loved ones, ensuring that everyone felt they belonged. It is said that laughter is the music of the heart, and nobody orchestrated that music quite like Jerry. His witty remarks and playful banter could turn the dullest moments into memories that would be relived around dinner tables for years to come.

On Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm, family, friends, and all whose lives Jerry touched are invited to celebrate his life and legacy. The burial will occur at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211. The memorial service will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 11 am - 1 pm at Greenville Avenue Church of Christ 1013 S. Greenville Ave. Richardson, TX 75081. In this sacred space, surrounded by the solemn beauty of nature, we shall remember a man whose laughter continues to echo even in his absence.
