Jerry Lee Rowell Sr.

Jerry Lee Rowell Sr., 67, of Ridgeville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on August 9, 1958, in Barnwell, SC, Jerry was a man of quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering dedication to his family. He lived a life rooted in hard work, resilience, and strong values, always putting those he loved above all else. Jerry was known for his steady presence and the comfort he brought to those around him.
He found joy in the simple things-time spent outdoors, fishing, and being surrounded by family. His greatest pride was his children and grandchildren, who lovingly knew him as "Poppa," a name that meant safety, love, and home.
Jerry is survived by his loving children, Jerry Lee Rowell Jr. (Shannon) and Brittany Muckelvaney (TC). He was a proud and devoted Poppa to Tyler Wallace, Piper, Elizabeth (Lizzy), Hunter, Braelynn, Kylie, Caroline, and Brittany Rowell; Carlie, Cayson, Catori, Cambri, and Caliya Muckelvaney; and two bonus grandsons, Semere Frazier and Prince Bingley.
He is also survived by his special brother, Louie (Diane) Rowell, and his sisters, Connie (Dave) Tucker and Bonnie (Eric) Craigmiles.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his two daughters, Miranda and Rita.
Though his passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him, his legacy of strength, love, and devotion will live on through his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as "Poppa" to those who loved him most.
