Jerry Lester Russell, Jr., a resident of Preston, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, at the age of 34. He was born on Thursday, November 8, 1990, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to Jerry Lester Russell, Sr. and Sheila (Fowler) Russell.
Jerry had a lifelong passion for cars-especially race cars and Mustangs-and enjoyed working on them whenever he could. More than anything, he loved his family. He especially cherished watching his son, Jace, play football and baseball and his daughter, Brookelynn play softball, basketball and cheer.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Lorene Hammontree; his great-grandmother, Nadine Fowler; his great grandfather, Jack Fowler; great-grandparents, Blanch and Alex Harjo; and his grandmother, Joie Russell.
Jerry is survived by his son, Jace Craig Russell; his daughter, Brookelynn Presley Russell; his father, Jerry Lester Russell, Sr.; his mother, Sheila Russell; his brother, Zaine Russell; his grandma, Janice Smith and Roger Smith; his grandpa, Jacky Fowler and Gail Fowler; his longtime girlfriend, Casi Hart, of the home; his aunt, Diane Parker; cousins, Lauren Parker and Amanda Parker; as well as a host of extended family and many friends who loved him dearly.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Dewar First Baptist Church, with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow at the Russell Family Cemetery in Preston.
Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
