Jerry Allen Sholly

Jerry Allen Sholly of Dover, Delaware passed away Wednesday December 03, 2025, in Chestertown, Maryland. He was 46 years old.
Jerry was born September 04, 1979, in Dover, Delaware to Christine Marie (Gauntlett) Sholly-Mansfield and the late Jeffrey Lynn Sholly. He grew up in Smyrna, DE and joined the military after high school.
He served 4 years as a load master in the Air Force. After the military he worked construction with family for about 6 years. Then he went on to work maintenance for apartment complexs for 18 years. Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He liked watching football and cheering for his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and being in the outdoors.
He is survived by his mother Christine Marie Sholly-Mansfield and her husband John Paul Mansfield of Dover, DE; his grandfather Glen Lester Sholly of Quentin, PA; children, Alyssa Charles and her husband Jordan of Frederica, DE and Brie Ann Sholly of Harrington, DE; his siblings Jamie Sholly and his wife Melissa of Smyrna, and Jennifer Paquette and her husband Roger of Smyrna; nieces and nephews James, Joshua, Aiden, Bryce, Aimmee, Elysia, Chris, Danielle, and Blake.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11 am at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 East Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover, DE. Friends may call one hour prior for visitation.
