Jerry Smith Obituary
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta Smith; his parents, Edwin and Lucille Smith; and his sister, Edwina Smith. He is survived by his three children, Dr. Robert Alan (Karen) Smith, David (Ada) Smith of Bardstown, and Carolyn (Tom) Sherrod of Lewis Center, Ohio; grandchildren Amie (David) Robertson, Brent (Britney) Smith, Ryan Smith, Lauren (Adam) Fish, Timothy Sherrod, Mark (Kathleen) Sherrod, James Sherrod and Joy (Addison) Fehl; 17 great-grandchildren; his brother, Michael Smith of Shelbyville, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Ida Spangler; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral for family and friends will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 3, with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon in the chapel at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy., Louisville, KY 40213, (502) 366-1481. Burial will follow immediately.
