We're remembering Jerry and his family on this sad anniversary.

Aunt Marilyn just told me that Jerry passed. He was my husband´s cousin. Although the families were never close Jerry always held a special place in our hearts. He was truly a good guy, respected and appreciated by our family. I just want to extend my sincere sympathy to Diane, Erin and Chris. Jerry helped make this world a better place. He will be missed.

We knew Jerry was an amazing man, but didn't know the half of all of his accomplishments. We know what a terrible loss this is for his wife, his kids, grandkids and friends. We wish you all peace and healing as you grieve Jerry's passing.

I am so sorry, I've been a life long friend of Diane from our many experiences on Millen Lake. I knew Jerry, through Diane, yet knew little about him until now. Wish I could have spent more time with him on the Lake, yet the lake always offered more busy than time I regret. Last time I saw him, he was installing a bench in memory of Ken Eastman (another life long friend on the lake) He wasn't sure if the arm rests should be installed. I suggested they would rust out, his response was "I ordered it, and I'm installing them." Sounds like Jerry doesn't it. Diane, your children and grand children, I am so sorry for your loss. Having suffered the same ten years ago, I was advised, "you never forget, you learn to live with it." I've found this to be true, and hope it will be for you. My thoughts are with you now, as always.
