Jerry Stockard was born June 12, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of William Henry Stockard and Edna Hill Stockard. This life came to an end on Tuesday, July 8, 2025
At Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Jerry relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and was a graduate of Cameron High School.
He was employed as a professional Driver. He also worked at Bellsouth in the Janitorial Department.
Jerry never married but had a long-term relationship with Sally Mae Floyd Banks. He later entered a relationship with Glenetta Shaw for over 15 years.
Jerry was musically inclined. He had an innate talent. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to the blues and playing his drums.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna Stockard, daughter, Theresa Harrison.
Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Loment Harrison, Kenneth Banks, Siblings: Murlynn June Hill, Billy Stockard, Earl Davis, grandchildren, Tiffany Banks, Keith Banks, Sioona Banks, Kevin Banks, Kedarivi Smith, Anthony Banks, a host of great-grandchildren and friends.
