Jerry Wayne Suggs

Funeral service for Jerry Suggs, 61, will be Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM at New Beginnings Baptist Church with Bro. Clyde Ledlow officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Suggs earned his heavenly reward, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born April 4, 1964, in Morgan County, to Andrew Suggs and Berchi Reed Suggs.

Jerry was a Delivery Truck Driver for Vaughn Gas Company, prior to his passing. He was a hard worker, who was dedicated to his work, his Church and his Church family, and all the people he cared about. He enjoyed fishing and was an Alabama Fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a son- Terry Miller, and a grandson-Travis Miller.

Survivors include:

Significant Other - Pam Johnson,

Daughter - Dametra Suggs (Gary), and
Amber Johnson,

Sons - Jeremy Johnson (Jessica) and
Michael Miller,

Brothers- Felton Suggs and
Ed Suggs,

and Seven Grandchildren- Nicholas Armstrong, Landan Champion, Jeremiah McDonald, Jalen McDonald, Hayden Johnson, Embrie Watson, and Emily Martin.

Shannon Goodwin, Billy Suggs, Jr., Bo Lee, Michael Armstrong, Greg Ball, Tracy Stafford, Zayne Bales, and Jerry Bales will serve as pallbearers.
