Jerry Ray Webster, 85, was born on Wednesday, August 21st, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Wilburn and Nola Deckerd Webster, and passed away on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026, surrounded by his family.

The Funeral Service, conducted by Charles and Jackie Shannon, will be held in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at 01:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service in Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Blake Richardson, Doug Ulrich, James Norrot, Jason Webster, Jamie Webster, Mike Couch, and Tommy Hatchett serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Meadows and Wayne Murphy. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9th from 04:00 p.m. – 08:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 10th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 01:00 p.m.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by children, Michael Ray Webster and Bridgett Daye; brothers, Dannie Webster and Randall Webster.

He is survived by loving wife of 22 years, Judy Webster; step-children, Kevin (Lisa) Horton, Loyde (Tina) Brickel, and Lisa (Wendell) Sullivan; grandchildren, Josh (Candace) Webster, Dylan (Brittany) Webster, Misty (Shawn) Chuska, Kayla (Marc) Monroe, Allyson (Tate) Bowden, and Brenna Horton; brothers, Windle Webster and Kenneth (Peggy) Webster; sister-in-law, Pam Webster; four legged companion, also known as "the princess", Tiffany; 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends also survive.

Jerry met the love of his life, Judy, in 1992, and the two have been inseparable since, spending 34 wonderful years together. He and his brother, worked as mechanics at Union 76 Gas Station beginning in November of 1976 before opening up their own business together, Webster Brothers Garage, which provided service to the community for 51 years.

Jerry had many hobbies but all involved cars or motorcycles of some kind. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and traveling to car shows and cruise-in's with Judy. His biggest passion of all was drag racing. Jerry raced up until his diagnosis with Dementia in 2019, but remained in constant attendance and was a pillar of support for the racing community.

He shared a special bond with his shih tzu, Tiffany. Where there was Jerry, there was Tiffany- his world revolved around her. Jerry will always be remembered for his sense of humor that was one of a kind, his giving heart, and love he had for his family.
