Dear Mr. Williams,
I cannot believe you are gone. You were my favorite teacher, including all my college professors. I decided to get a History degree because of you. Even to this day, I still look back fondly at all the good memories I had of your classes. I loved getting a BOOM on my quizzes and even struggling to keep up with my notes (I eventually bought a tape recorder). I remember my three C´s too! You both intimidated me and inspired me. My favorite class was our civil war class. I still remember parts of Battlecry of Freedom! And I´ll never forget how you gave me kudos on my Election of 1800 quiz. You were the best teacher at FRA, one of a kind. I hope you are in heaven with your favorite President.

Coach was always a positive, encouraging leader at FRA. I transferred early in my Freshman year from Texas. Based on my curriculum, I was assigned to Coach´s Junior-level History class. Needless to say that was a bit intimidating at first, but Coach made me feel at home by treating me at the same level as everyone else in the class. He always found a way to connect with students, especially with his humorous antics.
He encouraged me to tryout for baseball, being a catcher myself, and that´s where we bonded the most. Coach taught me how to train mentally and physically to become a champion-level catcher and ball player in general.
He poured his heart and soul into coaching, and he knew how to challenge us to draw out the best in every player.
Coach Williams, you will certainly be missed by many, and you helped shape me into the man I am today.
Love you Coach!

The first time I met him: He was there on the field boys baseball field one afternoon and Helped me find the girls softball field.
He ALWAYS made a point to say hello after that day, regardless. An FRA TREASURE. RIP
