Jerzy Wiktor Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we inform you that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 80, in Sarasota, Florida, surrounded by the love of his loved ones, the late Jerzy Wiktor — beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother and friend — passed away.
Jurek combined inner strength and true humility; his gentle presence and warm concern for others made him the natural heart of every meeting. He brought peace and smiles wherever he went. He loved to travel, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. His kindness and warm spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pietryka Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 PM at St. Hyacinth Basilica, 3636 W. Wolfram Street in Chicago.We cordially invite everyone who knew and loved Jurek to join us in celebrating his life and sharing our common sadness.
The burial will take place at a later date at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Stara Milosna in Warsaw.

Wnosil spokój i usmiech wszedzie, gdzie sie pojawial. Kochal podróze, lecz najwieksza radosc czerpal z chwil spedzanych z rodzina. Jego dobroc i cieply duch pozostana na zawsze w naszych sercach.
Wystawienie ciala odbedzie sie we wtorek, 22 kwietnia 2025 r., w godzinach 8:00–11:00 w Pietryka Funeral Home. Nastepnie, o godz. 12:00, zostanie odprawiona Msza swieta zalobna w Bazylice sw. Jacka (St. Hyacinth Basilica) przy 3636 W. Wolfram Street w Chicago.Serdecznie zapraszamy wszystkich, którzy znali i kochali Jurka, do wspólnego uczczenia jego zycia i dzielenia sie naszym wspólnym smutkiem.
Pogrzeb odbedzie sie w pózniejszym terminie na Cmentarzu Rzymskokatolickim w Starej Milosnej w Warszawie.
