We have many good memories of Jeff and the times he and Kevin played together, and the many Christmas's we were all together at Granny's house in Roanoke. Kevin and Jeff were six months apart, so we can reflect on his would be 43 birthday on the 22nd It just seems like it's been a dream and really didn't happen. Someday maybe we will understand. I am very late in finding this as I have moved to another state.Jess was a very good friend back in 1991 when I got out of the Army and into the car business.We shared alot and our paths were very similar for some time until he moved on.We lost a very good man with a great heart.My prayers to his great family and his children.You were a good friend Jess! I've just learned of this tragedy and am shocked and saddened. I met Jess in the early 90's while I was working at GMAC. Jess was quick to call me out on the corporate B.S. and taught me some life lessons in the car business! We became friends over time, drank a beer or two, and he taught me some awesome Greadful Dead tunes on the guitar! I moved away and didn't keep in touch over time, but I'll always remember his positive spirit! I'm very sorry to hear of this loss.

I have just learned and am so saddened by the passing of Jeff. He always greeted people with a friendly smile and a warm hand shake. Although time and distance has been put between us I have never forgotten all of the good times we had. He was a great man! My thoughts and prayers are with the Family!

Words can not express the sorrow I feel in the loss of my cousin, Jeff. I have so many fond memories of Jeff. We spent many Christmas and Easter holidays together at Grandma's house. Jeff was so full of life and so fun to be around. My only regret is that we did not stay in touch as we should have. I met Jess and Tammie while working as the Body Shop Manager At Capital Pontiac GMC of Richmond in the 1990's. We were friends from that point forward. My Thoughts and prayers are with the entire Fleming Family. Jess was a Great person and will be missed dearly.

Whenever we think of Jeff memories flood our minds and smiles and sometimes laughter comes about because he was just that type of person. Jess was truly a wonderful and unique person. I'll never forget his wicked sense of humor.

We laughed for 2 days straight in Atlantic City. Even through all of the personal things he had been through, he never once said a harsh word toward his circumstance.

The man was loved by all of his co-workers here in Harrisonburg and will be sorely missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jess' family. Thinking back on the great times we had in high school and college my fondest memory is the trip we took to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl in the Midnight Rider. Jess, you will be missed.

He and my daughter, Sara, went to Pizza Hut one time he was visiting Stella and she will always remember what fun they had and what a nice guy he was.

I've only known Jess for a year...we dated off an on from January thru August...I just wish i could have been a better friend to him these last few months...he was a joy to know with such a silly sense of humor, a beautiful smile that made his eyes disappear (and my heart skip a beat), and a tremendous gift of music...i will be forever grateful for having known him...it just was not long enough...

I met Jess 5 years ago when I came to work here in Mechanicsville. I also had the pleasure of meeting many members of Jess' family, his dad, brother, sister and brother-in-law, and was flattered that Jess thought enough of me to allow me to work with some of you. I did occassionally hear from him after he moved to Harrisonburg, when we would exchange an e-mail joke or greeting. In fact I heard from him only a week ago Sunday. I only knew Jess a short time but I will miss him and think of him often. My thoughts and prayers are with him and all the members of his family.

Jess was an all around great person!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be greatly missed by his friends at Harrisonburg Auto Mall!!
