Jesse Bidgood Obituary

Oct. 10, 1995 – May 12, 2025
It is with profound sadness that the family of Jesse Bidgood announce his passing on May 12, 2025, at the age of 29, due to tragic circumstances.
Jesse will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Carolann and Paxson of Ft. Stewart, Georgia, and Octavia of North Pole, Alaska. He is also survived by his mother, Jody, of North Pole, Alaska; two brothers, Kelly of North Pole and Brandon (April) of Fairbanks; three sisters, Julia (Jason) of Athol, Massachusetts, Lindsey (Levi) of North Pole, Alaska, and Alaina (David) of North Pole, Alaska; four nephews and one niece, Bryan, Tavan, Tytan, Braylynn, and Mason; one grandmother, Althea, of Park Falls, Wisconsin; three aunts and one uncle along with many cousins from Wisconsin. Jesse will also be remembered by a multitude of friends throughout the area.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Carol; and maternal grandfather, John.
Jesse moved to North Pole, Alaska, with his family in 2002 where he went to school and graduated from Star of the North Secondary School in 2014. With great enthusiasm, Jesse welcomed the birth of his first child in September 2014, along with his following children in 2016 and 2022.
After graduation, Jesse began working at Fairbanks Pumping and Thawing. Throughout his work at OIT, Weber, Ft. Knox, Durham, and Fairbanks Pumping and Thawing, Jesse was always passionate about operating heavy equipment.
Jesse will always be remembered as the guy with the jokes and the immeasurable sense of humor. He could light up a room with his antics whenever he entered.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Chapel of Chimes in Fairbanks. In true Jesse fashion, his family asks that all visitors come as they are: wear those work clothes, wear those work boots, and wear those hats! And when leaving, roll that coal!
In lieu of flowers, Jesse's family asks everyone who knew him, and even those who didn't know him, to hold their families close. Give those hugs and make those phone calls. Cherish your loved ones!
Jesse's family would like to thank the staff at Chapel of Chimes, the Fairbanks Police Department, and the Alaska State Troopers for their care and compassion throughout this difficult time. Your contribution, professionalism, and dedication are appreciated beyond measure.

I was a secretary At Jesse´s middle school, all the shenanigans the kids got into were so funny at times. This news broke my heart. Praying for his family, especially his children right now. Sending you all big squishes and my deepest sympathies.

I worked with Jesse at North Pole Gravel and OIT for a few years. A great guy, very good and diligent mechanic, excellent employee. Very cordial and definitely a good sense of humor. Loved his children. A tragic loss to his family
